Germicidal Ultraviolet is a unique and rapid method of disinfection. It utilizes germicidal ultraviolet lamps producing ultraviolet wavelengths at 254 nanometers (nm)—a level
that is lethal to bacteria, virus and other microorganisms.
Our UV Application Specialists can assist you in the selection of germicidal lamps and equipment. Their specialized knowledge is a valuable resource in formulating effective and cost-conscious ultraviolet sanitizing solutions.
This is primarily used for installation in new and existing HVAC
(Heating, Ventilating & Air Conditioning) systems. The air passes
over the installed AeroLogic®-UV and is subjected to the rays from the germicidal
ultraviolet lamp (or lamps). These germicidal rays destroy airborne
microbes including bacteria, mold, and virus.
The AeroLogic® UV Air Duct installation presents centralized and non-intrusive
applications that are useful on their own or in conjunction with additional air
circulation and filtration technologies. When used together, these systems
provide high level protection solutions.
The dosage, as it applies to ultraviolet disinfection, is a function of time, and the intensity, of
ultraviolet wavelengths, to which the air stream or surface is exposed.
The SANITRON® series of models is of exceptional value. These water purifiers were designed to conform to U.S. Public Health Guidelines “Criteria for the Acceptability of an Ultraviolet Unit.” Each model is well-featured and can utilize a number of different optional accessories, such as an Ultraviolet Monitor or similar device for a more in-depth knowledge of the water purifier's operation. Applications include process facilities, home water wells, restaurants, schools, mobile homes, swimming pools, fish ponds, hospitals, laboratories, resorts, hotels, medical facilities, etc.
